Your words…

You said if I seek your face and turn from wickedness you could hear from Heaven and heal the land. You said if I seek you early and wait for you that you’d answer my prayers.

You promised that you would never leave nor forsake me and that I never have to worry for joy from you is strength to my weakness.

You told me not to fret not to be dismayed but in all my ways acknowledge you and you shall direct my path. When the wicked ones even my enemy tries to come upon me you lift up a standard before me and no weapon formed shall prevail.

You said to walk by faith not by sight because vengeance is yours and you will repay! You said to trust you with all my heart and to lean not to my own understanding but just lay aside every thing that so easily besets me.

Your words are a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, may I never turn away from you Lord.

For as I walk through these troubled times and endure the pain and heartache may I always remember to remain steadfast and unmovable.

It’s your word that I hear each and every morning when I open my eyes .

It’s your word that I go back to for reassurance when doubt tries to arise .

It’s your words that keep me strong and praying hopeful and focused.

It is your word that will get me through.

May I never forget your word!!!
