Conviction

Can being convicted in your inner man be good for you?

I will go out on a limb and say yes! To be held accountable for your actions is taught to us as children and follows us right into adulthood so why shouldn’t it be applied to your spiritual growth. If you never feel anything when you step out of Gods will then how can you develop into your full potential? The Holy Spirit is there to guide you and keep you from making mistakes however being of the flesh we sometimes step out of the will of the Lord. It is at this time that you feel bad for what you have done thus you are being convicted yet it’s not to make you feel insecure or inadequate but to put you back on the right path. The enemy will have you thinking that God is disappointed with you but he already knew what you have, will and are going to do therefore there is no need keep putting yourself down.

Conviction is good for the soul it comes in and fills the voids and holes that have been placed there by our actions and becomes the balm to our healing. Don’t be afraid of the correction instead embrace it and use it as a learning process that helps to elevate you closer to the Lord.

I am truly a preacher's daughter. I love the Lord and my soul's desire is to seek his face and serve him. Humbly I want to be a blessing to everyone I encounter .
